Quotes:
1. Karen Milner - Location Manager Yorkshire Television 'The Royal':
Thank you so much for all your help during the filming, I can't express how
truly grateful I am for everything - you made my job so much easier. I
didn't have to worry about anything from your side, as we all knew it would
happen and you got the trust of everybody on the cast and crew straight away
(just wish the fishermen out here were as easy!) I know that Carol and David
were thrilled to bits with everything, so hopefully we may see you again in
the future - just order better weather next time!!!
2. 'The Royal' YTV Press Pack
Further challenges undergone during the filming of this action packed series included pot holing.  With the help from a company called Location Logistics’ who provide specialist outdoor stunt planning and management services for Film, TV and Advertising companies, Scott found himself in a very dark place as The Royal’s Dr Goodwin (Paul Fox) and Frankie were called out to rescue some pot holers.
The Royal sought help from a company called Logistic Locations for the Cave rescue scenes for EP 10.  Logistic locations provide solutions for Film and TV companies and help co-ordinate stunt scenes, where cast and crew’s welfare is at stake.  They specialise in cave / cliff rescue scenarios.  However, no matter how much planning that goes into something, you can’t argue with Mother Nature. Filming in the caves had to be abandoned on the instruction of Logistic Location after persistent heavy rain caused the water levels to rise to dangerous levels.
