Guided Walks with Yorkshire Dales Guides (Dave Gallivan)

Walks can be for a full day, half a day or longer.

Our Guides all live in the Dales and are experienced to take groups walking and hold a current First Aid qualification. They are all active walkers in the area so they can not only guide you but also tell you many stories on the way.

We can provide a guide or guides for you or your group. We can plan a route with you or you can choose an area and let us plan an interesting walk for you. We will then provide a guide to ensure you gain the most from it.

Routes can be arranged throughout the Dales, including from Settle, Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Malham, Clapham, Ribblehead, Chapel-le-Dale, Kingsdale and many other locations.

The routes can be low level with only some gentle climbing or there are routes which can include one or two of the Three Peaks. We can also provide assistance for the really adventurous and fit walkers who wish to try for all three!

The Three Peaks area is not only beautiful to look at but is full of geological and historical interest and by talking a walk with us your guide books will come alive. No need to worry about following the right route - you can concentrate on enjoying the scenery and visiting those places which are often off the well worn tracks.

You will need to bring your walking kit and your guide will carry some group safety gear.
